National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA), announced that travellers entering Malaysia through the International Entry Point (PMA) are no longer required to present the Letter of Undertaking (LOU) upon arrival, effective from 1 May 2021. Therefore, the Travel Notice is not necessary except for travel by land from Singapore to Malaysia.
Travellers are subject to ACt 342 Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases 1988 (Amendment 2020). Person Under Surveillance (PUS) may have to undergo quarantine at the designated quarantine facilities, bear all related costs and face legal action for non-compliances.
