9-12 May 2014 – The Hon. Dato’ Seri Mohammed Nazri Abd. Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia made a working visit to Qatar from 9-12 May 2014. During the visit, the Minister met with H.E. Issa bin Mohammed Mohannadi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) where both sides discussed the cooperation in the field of tourism and ways to enhance them to serve their mutual interests.
The Minister also held a “Visit Malaysia Year 2014” press conference and followed by a Gala Dinner at Renaissance City Centre Doha to give the local media a glimpse of what awaits them in Malaysia especially during the celebrations in 2014. The Gala Dinner was also held to show Tourism Malaysia’s appreciation to tour operators, media and invited guests for their support in promoting travel to Malaysia.
