Ladies and Gentlemen.
It is a great pleasure for me to be here today to inaugurate the opening of the new office of DXN Malaysia, Al Hajjaj Trading in Al Mahmal Centre here in Jeddah.
2. Firstly, I would like to congratulate Mr.Sunil Kumar, the management of DXN in Jeddah as well as its partners and consultant for making today’s opening of this new office a success. DXN as you know is a multinational company, founded and headquartered in Malaysia. DXN Pharmaceuticals and DXN farm in Malaysia have developed a modern scientific technology for farming and manufacturing high quality ganoderma products that meet stringent international production standards. I am pleased to note that DXN products have also received “Halal Certifications” issued by the Department of Islamic Development, Malaysia. Today, Malaysian Halal Certification is a standard being used around the world not only to certify conformity to Islamic principles but is also being recognized in numerous developed countries as one of the best certification for hygiene and health as well as good management practice.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
3. Today, Malaysia is among the world’s top 20 trading nations. The country offers the international community a variety of world class products, high quality textiles and apparel, furniture and wood as well as food and pharmaceutical products. And of course Malaysia is also a leading producer of palm oil-based and rubber-based products.
4. Malaysia has a strong, open economy and a government committed to international competitiveness in terms of trade and investment. The country focuses on improving productivity and innovation in order to leverage on globalization and an increasingly borderless world. Continuous productivity improvement is seen as central to its growth and competitiveness. This is being achieved through skills upgrading, management and organizational excellence and more intensive R & D efforts.
5. Today, We are proud to share the fruits of our labour with the rest of the world. I am proud to know that consumers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has benefitted and have assess to DXN products since 2003 under Al Hallaj Trading. I hope with the opening of this new DXN office today, we will see an increase of DXN products being sold to consumers in the Kingdom. I am pleased to note that DXN now has 9 branches all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
6. I wish the management of DXN and its partners and members here in Jeddah, a successful and prosperous years ahead. We at the Consulate General of Malaysia especially through the Office of the Malaysian Trade Commissioner in Jeddah, who is also present here today, will support every effort to promote and intensify the marketing of Malaysian products in the Kingdom.
7. Lastly, to all delegates of the DXN convention. I wish you a happy meeting and may you all have success always, Insyallah.
