JEDDAH — Consul General, Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak and spouse, Madam Aniza Khalid hosted an Iftar and Teraweeh prayers on 6 July 2014 at the Chancery. The attendees were all officers, staffs and families of the Consulate and Agencies based in Jeddah.
The evening kicked off with the Consulate Sports & Welfare Club (KSK) 4th Annual General Meeting which was chaired by the Consul General in his capacity as the Chairman and attended by all members i.e. HBS and LRS of the Consulate including HBS of the Agencies.
After breaking of fast, all present performed Maghrib prayer and then served with an authentic Malay dinner. The event concluded with Isyak and Teraweeh prayers. Certainly, the Iftar and Teraweeh prayers reminded all of their own memories and nostalgia of fasting in their ‘Kampung’ back in Malaysia.
