JEDDAH: The Consulate General and the Sports and Welfare Club of the Consulate jointly organized an Iftar on 26 July 2012 at the Chancery. The event was attended by all home based staff and local recruited staff and families including agencies based in Jeddah. After breaking of fast, Maghrib payer was held, followed by dinner, a farewell party for Mr. Azzaiyadi Mohd Padzil, then Isyak prayer and Tarawih. Various homemade dishes were brought as `potluck’ which was duly enjoyed by all. No doubt, the event reminded all of their own memories and nostalgia of fasting in 'Kampung' back in Malaysia.
