JEDDAH:The Hon. Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia and also in his capacity as the Honorary Patron of MBC hosted and chaired the yearly MBC meeting at Mira Ajyad Hotel, Mecca on 3 August 2013. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak, Consul General/Patron of MBC, Mr. Ahamad Kamel Ismail, Vice Chairman (II), Mr. Amran Yem, Trade Commissioner MATRADE Jeddah, respective Heads of Department/Agency based in Jeddah and MBC members. The meeting deliberated on its regular agenda i.e. business visits, new business and investments opportunities, latest developments of Malaysia and related issues.
The Malaysian Business Council or familiarly known as MBC was formed in January 2009 under the patronage of the Consulate General of Malaysia to provide a platform for Malaysian professionals and businessmen to interact and share experience and information to promote trade and business between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
