JEDDAH: With close collaboration of the Council of Saudi Cambers, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI) and Trade Office, Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah, a trade mission was organized and led by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) along with 11 other companies – TNB’s subsidiaries and vendors to Jeddah from 28-29 May 2012. The Malaysian business delegation comprising of 20 members headed by Mr. Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak, Consul General and Mr. Amran Yem, Trade Commissioner participated in a briefing and networking meeting with JCCI on 29 May 2012 at the latter’s premises. The Consul General in his welcoming speech among others emphasized that the delegation sole intention for the mission is to establish networking with their Saudi counterparts, and equally important to explore business opportunities in the power and energy sector. A total of 68 one-to-one business meetings have been arranged for the mission that would foster better growth and development in trade and economy between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
