YAB PM ATTENDS MBC DINNER IN JEDDAH

A dinner was hosted by H.E the Ambassador of Malaysia for YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak to meet the Malaysian Business Council (MBC) in Jeddah on Friday,15 January 2010. Other dignitaries  present were YB Menteri Luar Negeri, YB Menteri Perdagangan Antarabangsa & Industri, YB Menteri Dalam Negeri, YAB Chief Ministers of Pahang, Melaka and Perak.

Prior to Dinner the MBC gave a presentation to YAB PM on the Jabal Omar Project in Makkah which could be participated by Malaysian institutional investors to further boost Malaysia’s reputable standing in Saudi Arabia.

The Malaysian Business Council or familiarly known as MBC was formed in January 2009 under the patronage of the Consulate General of Malaysia to provide a platform for Malaysian professionals and businessmen to interact and share experience and information to promote trade and business between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.

YAB PM was on an official visit to Saudi Arabia from 13-16 January 2009. During his stay in Jeddah and Makkah, YAB PM visited the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and performed Umrah in Makkah.
