MEETING WITH MR. ABDELRAHMAN AL-AWAD AL-OSMAN, GENERAL MANAGER OF SAFAT AVIATION GROUP, 8 JANUARY 2020
H.E. Mohamad Razdan Jamil, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of the Sudan on 8 January 2020 had the opportunity of a fruitful discussion with Mr. Abdelrahman Al-Awad Al-Osman, General Manager of SAFAT Aviation Group (SAG) at the latter’s office in Kafori, Khartoum. SAG is one of Sudan’s trailblazer companies that is involve in the aviation industry.
During the discussion, the Ambassador was made to understand that SAG is currently in close cooperation with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to establish an adequate leaning institution in Sudan, under SAFAT Academy and its potential to be elevated to a fully-fledged university status. This hopefully could benefit more future students in this country and nurturing people-to-people contacts between the two countries.
