A NEW CONFERENCE FACILITIES FOR BOARD MEETING ROOM OF THE OFFICE OF RECTOR OF CHEIKH ANTA DIOP UNIVERSITY (UCAD) IN DAKAR

The Embassy of Malaysia in Senegal, in conjunction with IRIS Corporation Berhad, Malaysia, helped to renovate the conference room of UCAD.  The inauguration ceremony was held on Friday, 27 February 2009 in the presence of HE Ambassador Dato' Jamaiyah M. Yusof, Professor Abdoul Salam SALL, the Rector of UCAD and Miss Quik Saw Choo (representative of IRIS).  The dominat theme of the ceremony was Senegal-Malaysia cooperation.  IRIS is specialized in offering digital identification solutions, contributed by providing equipment for the conference room with modern public address system, video-projectors, screen for simultaneous projection and WIFI connection.  The conference room is the venue for the meetings of the deliberating assemblies such as the university general assembly, meetings of the board of directors, restricted meetings etc.
