Passport Renewal

PASSPORT APPLICATION/ RENEWAL
- Current passports must be valid more than 6 months when applying for passport application/ renewal at the Embassy of Malaysia in Dakar. The following documents are required for passport application/ renewal:
- Form IM42 (download here);
- Parents/ Guardian Permission (Form A1/B1) is required for applicants of 18 years old and below (download here);
- Original Passport;
- Two (2) copies of MyKad/ MyKid;
- Two (2) copies of Passport;
- Two (2) copies of Senegal Visa or Resident Permit or Work Permit;
- Two (2) copies of Birth Certificate/ Form H (if born outside Malaysia);
- Two (2) copies of the Marriage Certificate (required for applicants of 18 years old and below); and
- Three (3) recent passport-sized photographs (with white background).
- Lost / Damaged Passport Form (in case of Lost or Damaged)
- Police Report (in case of Lost Passport – EC will be issued)
- The fees : ~CFA28,000
- For all copies of the documents, must be certified.
- All applications will be submitted and approved by the Immigration Department, Putrajaya. Normally, it will take about 2 to 3 months to complete the process of passport application/ renewal and applicants will be notified once the new passport is ready to be collected.
- All applicants must be present during the submission and collection of the passport.
