Passport Renewal

PASSPORT APPLICATION/ RENEWAL

• Current passports must be valid more than 6 months when applying for passport application/ renewal at the Embassy of Malaysia in Dakar. The following documents are required for passport application/ renewal:

1. Form IM42 (download here);
2. Parents/ Guardian Permission (Form A1/B1) is required for applicants of 18 years old and below (download here);
3. Original Passport;
4. Two (2) copies of MyKad/ MyKid;
5. Two (2) copies of Passport;
6. Two (2) copies of Senegal Visa or Resident Permit or Work Permit;
7. Two (2) copies of Birth Certificate/ Form H (if born outside Malaysia);
8. Two (2) copies of the Marriage Certificate (required for applicants of 18 years old and below); and
9. Three (3) recent passport-sized photographs (with white background).
10. Lost / Damaged Passport Form (in case of Lost or Damaged)
11. Police Report (in case of Lost Passport – EC will be issued)

• The fees : ~CFA28,000
• For all copies of the documents, must be certified.
• All applications will be submitted and approved by the Immigration Department, Putrajaya. Normally, it will take about 2 to 3 months to complete the process of passport application/ renewal and applicants will be notified once the new passport is ready to be collected.
• All applicants must be present during the submission and collection of the passport.
