Briefing on Education in Malaysia at Rumah Malaysia
Rumah Malaysia again came alive on Friday, 9 April 2021 when it played host to the group from Sup de Co. Around 20 undergraduate and postgraduate students converged on Rumah Malaysia for a briefing on Malaysia, studying in Malaysia, and the work of the Embassy in general.
The more riveting session was perhaps the story of the sole Senegalese student sent to study in Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, married a Malaysian lass from Kedah, and ended up teaching in Kelantan before coming back to Dakar to work for the Embassy of Malaysia while the wife teaches Senegalese students. Just goes to prove that the world can be your oyster.
