Course offered: FINTECH AND DATA SCIENCE FOR ISLAMIC FINANCE

Course description:
- To provide essential knowledge in terms of fundamental concepts, strategic objectives, evolving consumer needs and stakeholders positioning surrounding Fintech in Islamic Finance.
- To expose participants to the critical ecosystems for Fintech/Islamic Fintech, e.g. regulations to safeguard the public interest and ensuring these regulations are effective etc.
Target participants:
- Mid to senior management and Board of directors attached to financial institutions (e.g. Islamic banks, takaful operators, wealth and asset management companies) regulators, supervisors e.g. Central Banks/ Capital Market authorities
- Mid to senior management attached to government departments or government agency
- Senior Shariah personnel e.g. of auditors/internal auditors of Islamic banks. Takaful operators and other Islamic Financial Institutions (IFIs).
Deadline for application: 1 June 2020 (Monday).
All applications must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Presidential Office.
