The Meeting and Hi-Tea was organized by HE Ambassador Dato' Jamaiyah M. Yusof on 27 Mei 2009 for the 26 Senegalese businessmen who attended the business meeting at the sideline of MIHAS 2009. Also present were President of UNACOIS and its executive committee members. The representative from International Commercial Bank SA (Malaysian bank in Dakar) was also present.
During the meeting, many businessmen raised their disappointment on the minimum amount of container imposed by Malaysian manufacturers. At the same time, the businessmen raised the problem of getting reliable international bank with good facilities that could cater for their business needs.
The Embassy has agreed to facilitate and assist them so that no such problem will occur during the next MIHAS's event.
The outcome of the meeting was then forwarded to our MATRADE office in Cairo and MATRADE HQ for further clarification.
