On 30 May 2018, corresponding to 15 Ramadan 1439 Hijri, the Embassy of Malaysia in Senegal had successfully organized an iftar or ‘Ndogou’ (in local dialect) at Rumah Malaysia.
The iftar program is an annual program hosted by the Embassy of Malaysia for its staff members during the month of Ramadan. This time around, the event saw the participation of about 20 Home Based Staff and Locally Recruited Staff. Food for the breaking of the fast was a wholly-Malaysian menu, comprising nasi tomato (tomato-based rice) and ayam masak merah (spicy chicken with tomato sauce).
