On Thursday, 18 August 2011(18 Ramadhan 1432 Hijri), the Embassy of Malaysia in cooperation with PERWAKILAN Dakar (Ladies’ Association of the Embassy of Malaysia in Dakar) organised an IFTAR at Rumah Malaysia. The IFTAR was attended by officers, staff and family members of the Embassy. Several “Friends of Malaysia’ were also present at the event which was organised to foster closer relationship with the local community in Dakar, Senegal.
The IFTAR started with Maghrib prayers which was led by Mr. Husni Ramli.
Malaysian delicacies such as ‘beef rendang’ and chicken curry as well as local delicacies such as ‘grilled mutton’ were served during the IFTAR.
The officers and staff of the Embassy of Malaysia in Dakar, Republic of Senegal would like to take this opportunity to wish all Malaysians home and abroad ‘Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri’.
