Course offered: INTERNATIONAL COURSE FOR SENIOR OFFICERS OF CUSTOMS ON E-COMMERCE

Course description:
1. Benchmark the Royal Malaysian Customs’ experience in the collection of revenue, promotion of trade/industrialization, enforcement of relevant legislation and secure the supply chain security
2. Discover the WCO CLiKC modules as a component to effective training
3. To enhance knowledge on cross-border E-Commerce, in particular, Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) transactions
4. To discover the benefits and challenges of e-commerce
5. To study the main drivers of E-Commerce, examine existing business models, consider current and likely future trends, deliberate key principles supporting facilitation and controls, collate best practices, and find scalable solutions.
Target participants:
- Senior or Mid-Level Management Customs Officers who are heading an office/station/division or Customs Trainers, and have not participated in any MTCP programme.
Deadline for application: Tuesday, 02 June 2020.
All applications must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Presidential Office.
