Malaysia Movie Night
This year, the Embassy of Malaysia in Dakar hosted a Movie Night with around 45 MTCP Alumni and their families. The night was a memorable one for the alumni as the film screened was ‘PASKAL: The Movie’. The Embassy managed to obtain permission from the producers to screen the movie for the first time in Senegal.
PASKAL was the choice of the film for 2019 because it also highlights the Malaysian forces’ engagement in Africa.
The colder breeze from the sea merely fueled the appetite of the Alumni members, and they were seen tremendously enjoying Malaysian dishes such as Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin, Onde-Onde and Kuah Kacang, Popiah, Teh Tarik, Bingka Roti as well as a Western offering of Beef Tortilla.
