The Embassy of Malaysia in Dakar, in collaboration with Hotel Pullman Dakar and IRIS Corporation Berhad organised the Malaysia Food Promotion from 9 to 14 July 2009. The event was the first of its kind to be organised in Dakar. Chef Ismail Ahmad and Chef Asri from Rebung Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur were flown to Senegal specifically for this promotion.
