SIGNING CEREMONY OF DOUBLE TAXATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SENEGAL


The Agreement between the Government of Malaysia and the Government of the Republic of Senegal for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income was signed on Wednesday 17 February 2010 at 12H45noon.  The signing ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Senegal.  The Agreement was signed on behalf of Malaysia, by HE Dato’ Jamaiyah Mohamed Yusof, Ambassador of Malaysia in Senegal and on the Senegalese side by HE Mr. Madicke Niang, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal.

 

Senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Senegal including the Director of Cabinet, Director of Legal Department, Director of Protocol, Director of Africa Asia Division attended the signing ceremony.  Officials of the Ministry of Finance who conducted the negotiations also attended the ceremony.
