VACANCY: TRANSLATOR / INTERPRETER
The Embassy of Malaysia in Dakar, Senegal is looking for candidates to fill the vacancy of Translator/Interpreter.
Candidates should be fluent in English and French, with the ability to interpret materials from one language to another seamlessly. Candidates should also possess a well-developed social presence for networking purposes, or the drive and commitment to develop such a skill.
Qualified candidates should be-:
- Not less than 25 years of age, and not more than 45 years old on 7 December 2019. Applicants who do not fall in the range will be considered;
- In possession of at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Certification as a translator would be a bonus, but not mandatory;
- Fluent in both written and spoken French and English. The ability to communicate in any of the local Senegalese language, or any other international language will be taken into consideration;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office 2013 and above; and
- Meticulous with particular attention to detail, meet deadlines and able to work under pressure.
