Course offered: WORKSHOP ON COUNTERING VIOLENT EXTREMISM (CVE) DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS
(BURKINA FASO AND MALI)

Course description:
1. To provide the participants on knowledge of CVE with a special focus on understanding the terrorist narratives and effort to counter those narratives.
2. To showcase Malaysia’s efforts in counter-messaging utilising the online media platform and offline engagement.
3. To provide the participants with the tools and hands-on experience in developing effective digital counter-narratives content.
Target participants:
- Media Officers with knowledge and background in CVE and Counter Terrorism.
- Law Enforcement officials with knowledge and background in Counter-terrorism cases.
- Youth NGO Leaders with knowledge and background in social media campaign.
Deadline for application: 13 July 2020 (Monday).
All applications must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Presidential Office.
