MALAYSIA EMBASSY BANGKOK REOPENING CEREMONY

On 2 January 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Bangkok was honoured to welcome The Hon. Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and spouse, Y.M. Raja Datin Seri Dato’ Hajah Salbiah Tengku Nujumudin, for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony officiating the reopening of the newly renovated Embassy of Malaysia Complex in Bangkok.
The ceremony was joined by H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Thailand and YBhg. Datin Zuhaila Abd Latif, as this moment marked the symbolic reopening of our diplomatic home.
To further mark the occasion, a Tree Planting Ceremony was held within the embassy grounds, symbolising our shared commitment to sustainability and a greener future. Together, these moments reflect the long-standing friendship between Malaysia and Thailand and reaffirm the Embassy as a place of diplomacy, engagement and growth.
