On 13 April 2026, Ambassador Suhaimi held an engagement with representatives from Malaysian universities, namely Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Sunway University, Taylor’s University, Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation, INTI International University and Colleges, and Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. The session was also attended by representatives from So Pandai Sdn Bhd and took place at the Embassy of Malaysia in Ashgabat.
The discussion covered scholarship offers, statistics on Turkmen students at each university, and future cooperation in the education sector between Malaysia and Turkmenistan. All university representatives will participate in Turkmen Travel 2026, which will be held from 14 to 16 April 2026 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
