Ambassador Suhaimi had a courtesy call on His Excellency Nazar Halnazarovich Agahanov, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan on 11 September 2025. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss potential trade and business collaborations between Malaysia and Turkmenistan. During the meeting, Minister Nazar positively stated that Malaysia is one of Turkmenistan’s priority partners, and expressed confidence that more trade cooperation can be expanded between the two countries. Ambassador Suhaimi reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to increasing bilateral trade and shared Malaysia’s trade volume.
