They explored business opportunities tied to Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and potential collaboration between TM Travel and Malaysian tour operators. TM Travel is interested in tapping into stopover visits by Malaysian umrah pilgrims flying with Turkmenistan Airlines.
In 2025, Malaysia saw a 42.49% increase in visitor arrivals from Turkmenistan, with 10,751 visitors, the highest percentage increase among Central Asian countries.
