On 13 June 2017, His Excellency Ambassador Roseli Abdul hosted an Iftar involving all Malaysians residing in Ashgabat. There are about 70 Malaysians (including family members) in Ashgabat, which consist of those working with the Embassy, PETRONAS Carigali Turkmenistan, Scomi Oiltools, UMW Oilpipe Services and Weatherford. It served as another opportunity for all Malaysians in Ashgabat to get together as well as to share and eat home-made Malaysian food.
