The Embassy of Malaysia together with the Malaysian community in Ashgabat took part in the International Food Festival organised by Ashgabat International School on 21 April 2018. The Malaysian food served were fried vermicelli, ‘roti canai’ (Malaysian flatbread), lace pancake, chicken curry, rice cube, chicken rendang, yellow glutinous rice, beef floss, fish floss, baked pumpkin flan, caramelized sugar cake, mung bean fritters, Malaysian popsicle and ‘teh tarik’ (Malaysian milk tea). The Malaysian booth received an overwhelming response from visitors from all around Ashgabat.
