Embassy of Malaysia in Ashgabat, in collaboration with Future Ed Services (So Pandai) and Education Malaysia, held a briefing titled “Malaysia, Here We Come!” for Turkmen students and their parents at the Ish Nokady Coworking Centre. The event aimed to guide students about Malaysia’s history, culture, traditions, local cuisine, and practical aspects of studying and living there. It also provided advice on adjusting to a new learning environment and making the most of their overseas experience.
H.E. Mohd Suhaimi bin Ahmad Tajuddin, Ambassador of Malaysia to Turkmenistan congratulated the students on their acceptance into Malaysian institutions and encouraged them to act as cultural ambassadors, enhancing ties between Malaysia and Turkmenistan. He highlighted Malaysia’s growing reputation as an affordable and high-quality education hub, noting the increasing number of Turkmen applicants each year. Briefing was conducted by Mrs Yazmalina Yaacob and alumni graduates also shared their experience studying in Malaysia.
