On 8 October 2025, Ambassador Suhaimi hosted Malaysia’s 68th National Day reception at the Yyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The event was graced by His Excellency Batyr Amanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, as the Guest of Honour and attended by 250 attendees including members of diplomatic corporation, representatives from International Organizations, Turkmenistan Government officials, Malaysian citizens residing in Turkmenistan, business community, travel agencies, members of media, alumni of Malaysian universities and Malaysian delegation participating in the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State’, scheduled from 10-12 October 2025.
