YB Dato’ Sri Anifah Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, arrived in Ashgabat on 10 January 2018, accompanied by his wife, Datin Sri Siti Rubiah Abdul Samad, and officers from Wisma Putra for a two-day visit. On 11 January 2018, YB Dato’ Sri Anifah Aman paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, and had a meeting with his counterpart His Excellency Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. On the same day YB Dato’ Sri Anifah Aman also gave a lecture at the Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan.
