23 October 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia to the Republic of Türkiye in collaboration with the Malaysian Students’ Association in Türkiye (MASAT) and Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University (HBVU) successfully organised an event entitled “The Colours of Malaysia: A Culture and Food Gastronomy Experience” at the Ankara HBVU, Ankara.
The event was attended by more than 300 participants comprising of Prof. Dr. Metin Orbay, Vice Rector of HBVU, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and International Relations HBVU, Malaysian students in Türkiye, Turkish and international students from HBVU, members of the diplomatic corps. and academia.
The event was held to promote Visit Malaysia Year 2026, and to showcase Malaysia's arts, culture and cuisines to Turkish students. The event also provides an opportunity for strengthening of cooperation between Malaysia and Türkiye in the fields of education and tourism.
