His Excellency Sazali Mustafa Kamal, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Türkiye together with seven other ASEAN Ambassadors celebrated the 57th ASEAN Day at the Embassy of Indonesia in Ankara, Türkiye. The theme for this year's ASEAN Day celebration is "Connected and Resilient Community". This year's ASEAN Day was graced by His Excellency Burhanettin Duran, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
The event was celebrated with the participation of diplomatic corps from all eight ASEAN member countries and its Dialogue Partners, senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, academia, think tanks, ASEAN citizens residing in Türkiye and members of the media.
Malaysia took the opportunity to promote Malaysian cuisines such as roti jala , curry chicken, nasi goreng kampung, nasi impit with peanut sauce , kuih seri muka and teh tarik. Malaysia also performed traditional malay songs during the event.
