6 January 2025: His Excellency Sazali Mustafa Kamal, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Türkiye officially received the gavel from the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, marking the symbolic handover of the ASEAN-Ankara Committee (AAC) Chairmanship from Indonesia to Malaysia for the period of January-June 2025.
Malaysia is committed to strengthen ASEAN unity and promote ASEAN in Türkiye.
