24 June 2025 – His Excellency Sazali bin Mustafa Kamal, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Türkiye and Chair of the ASEAN Ankara Committee (AAC) delivered remarks and launched the ASEAN Centre for Applied Studies and Research at the Social Sciences University of Ankara.
The event was attended by Her Excellency Berris A. Ekinci, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye as the guest of honour, all ASEAN Ambassadors / CDA a.i based in Ankara, academia, think tanks and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
The launching of the ASEAN Centre for Applied Studies and Research at the Social Sciences University of Ankara provides an opportunity for more academic engagement and deeper understanding on ASEAN regional cooperation, as well as ASEAN- Turkiye relations.
