The Embassy of Malaysia to The Republic of Turkiye hosted Malaysia Day and the 60th Anniversary of Malaysia - Turkiye Diplomatic Relations in Ankara. The event was attended by 450 guests comprising of diplomatic corps, senior officials from Turkish Ministries/ Agencies, academia, think tanks, private sectors, NGOs, media and Malaysian diaspora residing in Turkiye.
The guest of honour for this year's Malaysia Day reception was His Excellency Yasar Guler, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Turkiye.
This year, the national day reception was a special one as we had cultural performance, crafts exhibitions and food gastronomy led by the Sarawak Craft Council to promote Malaysia's cultural diversity, and Malaysia as a preferred tourism destination in the Southeast Asian region. #MalaysiaTrulyAsia#
The guests at the event were served with Malaysian food such as Dabai fried rice, cube rice with peanut sauce, daging masak hitam (braised beef in dark soy sauce), kolok noodles, laksa sarawak, kek lapis (layered cake) and Tabaloi ( sago snack).
