Signing Ceremony of Double Taxation Agreement between The Government of Malaysia and The Government of The Republic of Turkey

 

The signing of the Protocol amending the Agreement between The Government of Malaysia and The Government of the Republic of Turkey for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income (the Protocol amending DTA Malaysia-Turkey) took place on 17 February 2010 in Ankara, Turkey.

 

            The objective of this Protocol is to amend the Article on Exchange of Information which is in line with the internationally agreed tax standards. This Protocol was signed by His Excellency Dato’ Saipul Anuar Abd. Muin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the Republic of Turkey on behalf of The Government of Malaysia. On behalf of The Government of the Republic of Turkey the Protocol was signed by Mr. Mehmet Kilci, President, Presidency of Revenue Administration of Turkey.
