25 April 2023 - TYT Sazali Mustafa Kamal received a certificate of appreciation from His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the humanitarian service in assisting the earthquake disaster that hit Turkiye in February 2023.
90 countries have extended assistance to Turkiye after the earthquake on 6 February 2023. Malaysia is one of those countries that disptached its SAR teams and a field hospital to Turkiye.
During the event, the President also awarded Malaysia with a Presidential Medal and Order of Distinguished Humanitarian Service, which was received by Mr. Hussain Bin Moh, Deputy Director of Post Disaster, NADMA.
