21-22 April 2025 - His Excellency Sazali Mustafa Kamal, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Türkiye accompanied YAB Dato' Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) of Malaysia for a Working visit in Ankara.
During the visit, YAB DPM met His Excellency Cevdet Yilmaz, Vice President of the Republic of Turkiye and His Excellency Dr. Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkiye. These meetings were held as a follow - up to the recent official visit by the President of Tukiye to Malaysia on 10-11 February 2025.
Discussions were centered on enhancing cooperation in the fields of energy, water and Malaysia's ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025.
YAB DPM also visited Gama Enerji A.S., an energy generation company in Turkiye. Malaysia through Tenaga National Berhad (TNB) invested in Gama Enerji A.S.
