In recognition of YBhg. Datuk Yong Teck Shing, President of MFTC Taipei for his excellent services and contributions including in the promotion of the bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and Taiwan, University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) conferred an Honorary Degree of Master of Arts (International Relations) to YBhg. Datuk Yong Teck Shing on 27 November 2014.
The conferment was presented by YBhg. Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd Harun Abdullah, Vice-Chancellor of the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS). A brief ceremony was held in Sheraton Hotel and attended by a few UMS officials and witnessed by MFTC Taipei’s officers, Encik Mohammad Ali Selamat, Director of Economics, Encik Mohamad Shukri Nawi, Director of Visa Division, Puan Jamaliah Jamaludin, Director of Trade Division and Encik Mohammad Firdaus Oging, Manager of MFTC.
