YBhg. Datin Zawiah Ahmad, wife of YBhg. Dato’ Abdullah Mohd Salleh, President’s of Malaysian Friendship and Trade Centre (MFTC), Taipei made Malaysia pride when she demonstrated the ‘kuih Lapis’ and ‘kuih Golong’ at Eslite Bookstore (Food Demo Section) on 30th April 2010. About 100 food enthusiasts local and abroad came to have a closer look and asked many questions related to the making of the cakes.
YBhg. Dato’ Abdullah Mohd Salleh, President of MFTC gave his opening remarks. Mr. Shahrulmiza Zakaria, Director of Trade was there also to boost the demo with Malaysian biscuits and drinks. Tourism Malaysia supported the program with DVD and brochures about Malaysia.
