Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine, H.E. Chuah Teong Ban again visited Chudniv town on 4 October 2013 as special guest of the Mayor, Mr. Maksim Samchek, to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Chudniv District, some 190 km south west of Kyiv city
H.E. Ambassador Chuah toured the celebration ground to see the various agricultural products made in the district, the arts and crafts from the various townships as well as savouring the various culinary. A handicraft exhibition by the primary school pupils in the Chudniv District was also on display.
The highlight of the 90th Anniversary celebration was the official programme to honour the past chief administrators and those long serving staff with certificates of appreciation followed by the entertainment of cultural performances. As a token of friendship from Malaysia, H.E. Ambassador Chuah presented an oil painting of the majestic Mount Kinabalu to the Administration of Chudniv District.
H.E. Ambassador Chuah also had a radio interview with a local broadcasting network on the status of bilateral relations between Malaysia and Ukraine.
