Ambassador chuah tours the biggest tyre MANUFACTURER in Ukraine
Led by H. E. Mr. Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine the staff of the Embassy made a study visit to the biggest tyre factory “Rosava” in Ukraine on 6 November 2012. This factory has been importing Malaysia natural rubber since its inception in 1972 to be used in the manufacturing of tyres for a wide range of automobiles and tracks.
H.E. Ambassador Chuah had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Vadim Tatus, Board Chairman and Director General of Rosava on many areas of cooperation with Malaysia. H.E. Ambassador Chuah invited Rosava management to consider forging closer engagement with Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council (MREPC) and other Malaysian rubber research centers to upgrade their technical expertise on natural rubber products. In addition, H.E. Ambassador Chuah reaffirmed that the Embassy of Malaysia will always be ready to assist Rosava with regard to natural rubber.
After the meeting, H.E. Ambassador and delegation were taken on a guided tour of the various production facilities to see first-hand the manufacturing of tyre from the processing raw materials stage to finished products.
