H.E. Datuk Ayauf Bachi paid a farewell call on Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsia, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on 1 March 2018.
During the call, Mr.Kyslytsia conveyed appreciation for the contribution made by H.E. Datuk Ayauf Bachi in the development of Malaysia-Ukraine bilateral relations. In turn, H.E. Datuk Ayauf Bachi thanked Mr.Kyslytsia for the support that the Ukrainian government has extended to him in discharging his duties for the past two years.
Both sides reflected on the progress in bilateral cooperation notably in the fields of trade; agriculture; higher education; and exchange of visits. They also noted that Malaysia and Ukraine have enhanced coordination and cooperation in international issues of common interest.
H.E. Datuk Ayauf Bachi served as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine since 13 April 2016 and ended his tour of duty on 3 March 2018.
