A casual get together over dinner with Malaysian families in Kyiv was organised by the Embassy of Malaysia under the Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia (PMRM) on 12 November 2015. Being a small community of Malaysians residing in Kyiv, the event has helped to strengthen esprit de corps and camaraderie amongst fellow Malaysians. The get together was also important in providing an avenue for Malaysians to keep in touch with the latest developments in Malaysia and policies undertaken by the country.
H.E. Ambassador Chuah Teong Ban thanked fellow Malaysians for their support and involvement in the Embassy’s programmes. He said that the Embassy would continue to engage with fellow Malaysians in Ukraine and stands ready to render assistance if needed. Ambassador Chuah also acknowledged the contributions made by Malaysians living in Kyiv to raise the level of awareness about Malaysia amongst the local community.
