On 22 April 2020, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine met with Sheikh Said Ismagilov, Mufti of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine and handed over donation to assist Muslims of Ukraine especially orphans, persons with disabilities and the elderly who are severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the fasting month of Ramadan approaching, the Embassy of Malaysia hopes that the modest contribution to the poor and needy Muslims will in a certain way help to lessen the burden and hardship that they are going through in this challenging time.
