H.E. Ambassador Chuah Teong Ban met Governor of Lviv Oblast
On 15 October 2011, H.E. Mr. Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia in Ukraine had a meeting with Mr. Mykhailo Tsymbaliuk, Governor of the Lviv Oblast at the sidelines of the XIth International Economic forum held in Truskavets, Lviv Oblast from 14 – 15 October 2011. H.E. Ambassador Chuah was invited by the Governor of Lviv Oblast to participate at the said annual forum, a major business and economic networking congregation that attracted regional captains of industry and entrepreneurs from 24 foreign countries.
During the bilateral meeting, Mr. Mr. Mykhailo Tsymbaliuk briefed the various strategic economic and social development plans being undertaken by the Lviv Regional State Administration to make Lviv region a centre of social-cultural heritage and well as a major economic growth center. He further outlined the various investment opportunities available for foreign investors in Lviv, including the promotion of sanatorium tourism industries involving the unique curative spring water of Truskavets, “Naftusia”. H.E Ambassador Chuah had a brief exchange of views with Mr. Tsymbaliuk on the prospects of Malaysia-Ukraine economic cooperation, particularly in the Lviv Oblast.
