The Embassy of Malaysia in Kyiv, Ukraine wishes to notify all Malaysians that effective from 00.01 hours (Eastern European Time (EET), UTC +2), Monday, 16 March 2020, all foreigners and stateless persons will not be allowed by the Government of Ukraine to enter the state border of Ukraine, including transit, with the aim to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
The restriction shall not apply to foreigners and stateless persons of the following categories:
- employees of foreign diplomatic missions, consular posts and representations of international organisations accredited in Ukraine, as well as their families,
- persons documented with a permanent or temporary residence permit in Ukraine.
The procedure of departure of foreigners and stateless persons from the territory of Ukraine remains unchanged.
