On June 19, 2014, H.E. Ambassador Chuah Teong Ban led a delegation of the Embassy of Malaysia to attend the opening ceremony of a kaolin mineral enrichment plant, located in Kozyatyn, Vinnitsa region. The plant is a wholly owned by SOKA, a French company.
At the plant, H.E. Ambassador Chuah was met and welcomed by Mr. Philipp Delaporte, Director General of SOKA company. After the opening ceremony, all invitees were given a tour of the plant to be briefed and shown on the various technologies employed in the enrichment process of kaolin mineral to produce high grade raw material for exports to sanitary ware industries worldwide.
During the visit, H.E. Ambassador Chuah took the opportunity to have a brief discussion with Mr. Anatoliy Oliynyk, Governor of Vinnitsa region, who was the guest of honour at the event. They explored business opportunities and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral trade between Malaysia and Ukraine, particularly in Vinnista region.
The industrial visit and meetings were organized by the Association of Ceramics and MATRADE Kiev office.
