Kyiv FETES birthday of SPByang di-pertuan agong
Malaysian community in Kyiv celebrated the Birthday of SPB Yang di-PertuanAgong at the compound of the Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine. They were treated to barbeque and various Malaysian cuisines such as fried meehoon, curry puff, sotongbakar, dodol, lempuk durian, kuihbahulu and other local Ukrainian confectionaries as well as Malaysian traditional songs and music.
This festive celebration was organised as part of the annual activities under the Program Dampingi Rakyat Malaysia of the Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine. It has successfully met its objective of bringing closer fellow Malaysians living in Ukraine, irrespective of the ethnicities, religious beliefs, creeds, young and old. The Locally Recruited Staff of the Embassy also participated in the celebration and were able to understand the need to instill the sense of loyalty to the Supreme Head of State of Malaysia.
